Staying Consistent For Success
So, it seems like it's a scary time to be a realtor. Rising interest rates, lawsuits, and the political climate are making it really tough to find where we stand as an industry.
So how do we win in a down market where there's so much weather and other factors out of our control affecting our industry?
The big answer is focusing on the same things we've already been doing. Getting laser-focused on consistency.
When things get tough or uncomfortable, we tend to hit the eject button on the very things that have been sustaining us the entire time. That's because we feel a need to shake up our routine in an attempt to bring us some newfound resolution, some new nest, or a new area of comfort. The truth is actually the opposite of that.
No matter the marketing plan, no matter the lead source, no matter what you do, you can do it consistently over time. It's going to work. You just have to do it enough to see success, i.e., stay the course.
So now more than ever, learn to discipline the habit. Silence the noise. Focus on the fundamentals that have brought you success before.
Intentionally following up, personalizing your touches and conversations, and time-blocking and protecting those hours to invest in your business will get you through the tough times just as they've gotten you through the good ones in the past.
