This is one of my favorite communication tools when working with clients. It's particularly handy when you have a client who is taking a hard stance that's unlikely to result in the end outcome that they're looking for.

One of the negotiating tools we use on our team is something called The Free Roll. Conceptually, it's a shot at getting something for your client without jeopardizing the deal.

A common objection when cold calling (whether it's real estate or any type of sales) is, Can you call me back later?
